This was a month-long project where I and the members of my team were given the task to conceptualize a game and come up with a Game Design Document for the game. For this assignment, we were separated into teams of 5 to 6 people. We were then tasked with creating a concept of a game and creating a video pitch for the game. We created a few other documents along the way to creating the pitch for our game. We created a Team Charter document, an Outline & Research document, a Presentation Draft video, and then our final Presentation video and then a Postmortem document.

In the Team Charter document, we were tasked with describing our mission, values/priorities, bios, and our roles and responsibilities. We also had to list our processes of communication, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and rules of conduct and expectations. Originally it was a little difficult for my team and me to come up with an idea but when we did we were really passionate about it and happy with it. For the Outline & Research, we were tasked with describing our design decision, our reason for the decision,​ and five resources supporting our decision. We were also tasked with explaining what our game was about, what the player does, what genre the design fell into, and what platform(s) the game would be designed for.​​

The game we pictured was about a young talented musician named Vincent who had really bad stage fright. While practicing on stage before a really grand performance in front of a huge audience, Vincent messes up and starts to have a panic attack. During this panic attack his instrument begins to play itself, magic occurs, and he is transported to another world. In this world, Vincent must defeat the shadow version of himself by collecting sheet music to compose a piece to play with the instrument he has gained from an old virtuoso he met in this new world.
